Aloha!!! It started off as a beautiful day but as we went up into the rain forest of Manoa it got damp. Luckily we were on the top parking lot of the Tree Tops Restaurant and could unload all of our bartending gear and go across the overpass with our handy trolley.
The Groom Stu Bodden and his new wife Stephanie had a great time and about 150 guests showed up for their special day up in the trees. We rocked out the bar with some amazing specialty cocktails. We made what we call a Lychee Crush. It had muddled Lychees, freshly squeezed lemon juice, Pear Vodka, and then topped with lemon lime soda. We shook it hard and poured it straight. It was sooooooo tasty. Our other specialty drink of the evening was a Hawaiian Mojoito. Made with Muddled Pineapple, Mint, limes, White rum, Ginger Liqueur, and Ginger-Ale. Ok, this cocktail was uber good toooooo:)
I must say, all in all, no wedding is ever complete without a congo line. This was a great highlight of the evening. Then when I thought it couldn't get any better Auntie comes up, asks me for a bottle of Tequila, and is dancing the congo line. Not only is she dancing but she's drinking the tequila right from the pour spout!!! Awesome, Thank's Auntie, You Rock!!! Later on the bride and groom left to enjoy themselves as a new couple and had a hotel room booked in Ko'Olina. We packed up, this time in severe rain, got totally soaked, but that's why were here. We bartended, we laughed, had a great time, and made some awesome drinks and got to share a moment with a great group of people. Mahalo. Remember us for your next event. Also would like to have a shout out to Jenn from Savvy Co-ordination. Always a pleasure to work with you!!!:) Maybe we'll bartend your wedding on 12-12-12.

Aloha. Lift Your Spiritz - Hawaii's Mobile Mixologists were on location in Kapolei for this intimate House Warming party for Pierre. Pierre and his family just moved here from Kentucky and we are very glad that you did. You've got a great group of friends, and you have a wonderful new home. The spread of food was fantastic and Pierre himself was on the grill cooking up a storm. We would like to say a special thank-you to Pierre's wife for giving us a very large piece of chocolate cake before we left. Ps: We were supposed to share it but they didn't make it home on time. I
ate it all by myself and it was fantastic. Mahalo, hope to see at your next get-to-gether. www.BartendHawaii.com

The Wedding of James & April Binari @ Oasis Beachfront Estate on September 29th, 2011
Aloha. We just wanted to say a special Thank you to James and April. You two look like an amazing couple and it was nice getting to know you two through the stages of our pre-planning. From our meeting at Starbucks to the final product - Your Wedding. . Once again Lift Your Spiritz butchered ourselves on making time consuming cocktails but you know what, the final product was well worth it. We strive on making high-end, amazing tasting, cocktails. We we would never serve something that we ourselves wouldn't drink. That being said ... James and April's specialty cocktails were a Hawaiian Mojito muddled with fresh Pineapple and we even added some Ginger Liquor. Man, what a great cocktail!!! Their other specialty cocktails was named the Summer Bliss and was muddled with fresh Strawberries, Pineapple, Limes, home-made Simple Syrup, and had Cacha. It was soooo good we had to try two ourselves:) All-in-all, great day. Thanks for having us. It was nice meeting your friends and family. All the best in the future. Kevin at Off-Menu catering did an astounding job with the food (Thanks for helping us unload our ice), and thanks to Jason at Exquisite Entertainment and Jerry at Hawaiian Pic

www.BartendHawaii.com The cocktail we created was called the "Star Struck". We started off by rimming a martini glass with shaved chocolate. We then muddled Kona Coffee Beans and added Bacardi Oak Heart, Tuaca, Bailey's, and cream. Shook it really hard and poured it into our chocolate rimmed Martini Glass. We placed the cocktail on a desert plate with a Macadamia Nut, and a couple Nilla wafers. The cocktail didn't take first place but damn ... it tasted really good!!!

Australian Travel Agent event at the "Queen Emma Summer Palace"
Rocking out another event at the summer Palace. It is such an nice quaint little area. Our featured cocktail at this event was a Hawaiian Mojito. Muddled with fresh Pineapple, Mint, and Limes. We prepped it up by making our home made Simple Syrup with Maui pure cane sugar. We used Domaine de Canton ginger Liqueur, 10 Cane Rum, fresh lime juice, and ginger-ale. We met alot of cool vendorsCamille's on Wheels. Awesome name but more importantly, awesome Taco's. Thanks Camille, you were a hoot!!!
Fairy Cakes Hawaii. Ps - Mahalo for the referral!!! And Soul Patrol, we didn't forget u.
We also concocted which felt like a million Mojito's for this Austrailian group as well. Note to self, stop putting Mojito's style drinks on our menu. I totally got weeded when I had to make about 40 mojito's all at once.
So the Australians came, they laughed, they drank, they ate, and hopefully they will tell fond stories of the legends they heard. Mahalo to the Oahu Travel Bureau, and Mahalo to Poni from StreetGrindz
Thanks for having us. We would love to work with you again, and again, and again!!!

"The Knot" event at the YWCA Honolulu
Aloha, it was another beautiful day in Hawaii. A great day to be bartending an event for "The Knot". We had two different bar set-ups and we were also going to be doing a "Flair Bartending" show. We came up with some awesome specialty drinks for this event. "The Summer Bliss" was a huge hit and made with fresh watermelon, basil, ginger. It was Yummmmmy, and we also came up with a Red Irish Apple which used Jameson's Irish Whisky, Absolut Apple, Apple Pucker, Cranberry and Topped with Waalua Soda Red.
Then our "Flair" Bartending show came up. It rocked. I started off by using Kick Start Your Heart by the Crue. The show went awesome and ended it with a nice little juggling routing. After the routine we brought out our fireboard and my fellow bartender and I blew a nice little "fire ball" to show our guests how we like be the party. Click the Fire Ball to see our Fire show and the end of our Flair Bartending Show. Its on our Facebook Page!!!
Mahalo for having us "Weddings by Grace and Mona".

Wedding at Lanikuhonua Gardens - Sheena & Yousef
THE WEDDING OF SHEENA AND YOUSEF
Aloha!!! It was another beautiful day to have a wedding in Hawaii and we were bartending at Lanikuhonua, a gorgeous location right on the beach. It was a very busy for us as a bartending service as not only we're we bartending a wedding, but we were also participating at the Bridal Expo!!!Everything went as planned. We had our wedding booth manned, or should I say Wo-manned and myself and my fellow bartender set up at Lanikuhonua. Set-up went smooth, and then we went to go pick up our third bartender and yank her from the wedding expo.
It was nice to finally meet Carmina. She was the mother of the groom and her and I did several emails to each other over the course of the past couple of months. Aloha!!! The specialty drinks that we had featured at the wedding were Blue Cheese stuffed olives for a dirty vodka martini, Watermelon Caipirhinia, Lychee Martini, and we even had Strawberry Lemonade for the Keiki but some of the adults were mixing vodka in there :) All-in-all it was a great time and we were proud to be there. Marino was the MC and he did a great job. Also, thank you to the staff of Lanikuhonua as they found us a coat hanger. Our keyless entry into our Lift Your Spiritz truck wasn't so keylessWe had to break into our own car to fetch last minute items. One of them being a vest for one of our bartenders. Mahalo Lanikuhonua!!! We would also like to say a Mahalo to all the rest of the vendors. A Perfect Day, Floral Details Hawaii, Accel Rentals, Catering Connection, Oeno Wine Making, Kahai Street Kitchen, Kai Photo, Crane Media - check out this link if you get a chance - it's the ceremony highlights - it's beautiful http://www.cranemedia.com/weddings/07302011sy It was great meeting everybody and wishing you all the best in the future.

Bombay Sapphire & GQ Bartending Competition
AAAAAAAloha, it was another great day for bartenders in Hawaii. Pearl nightclub was the host this year for Bombay's Bartender competition.
It took place on July 26th and it was tons of fun. The winner of the competition was from the Waikiki Edition Hotel and he made a drink which had Vanilla smoke. It was pretty damn good I must say. Good job by all the bartenders competing, there was about 14 of us in all. The winner gets put into the finals which will be in Las Vegas and they get to showcase their signature cocktail there. Good Luck!!! Until then, we will keep making our fantastic drinks, work our magic with our guests, and keep showing people how we like to rock out the bar.
The drink we made was refreshing and half the fun was tweaking it for the competition, practice makes perfect (hehehe). Our ingredients were muddled ginger to release all of its wonderful flavors, then we added in some cubed pineapples (no seeds preferred), and added some pure Maui Cane Sugar and re-muddled everything together.
Then ... We took some fresh Thai basil, threw it in the mash and re-muddled it. Not too much but just enough to release the oils and flavors from the basil - You only need a little muddle with basil, too much, and it gets all funny. Then we added in a squeese of lemon, and of course Bombay Sapphire Gin along with just a dash of Passoa which is a passion fruit liquor. Added in some ice, shook it really, really, hard, poured it straight, and drank it with Sophistication. Yummmmmy. I thought it tastes super awesome and I could have drank them all day long.

Bartending at Ocean Front Oasis - Savvy Productions pool covering unveil
Allllloha!!! It was a fun filled Wednesday and we were bartending on Oahu again at Ocean Front Oasis property in Hawaii Kai. What a wonderful location. We would love to Thank Savvy Productions for inviting us to bartend. They were showcasing off their new see through Pool cover. It makes it so that you can actually dance, get married, and/or jump up and down on this see through floor (And not fall in). It goes on top of the pool at the Oasis Estate. Or any other pool for that matter as long as it has straight sides. It was super cool. There was "Burgers On The Edge" cooking up some tasty delights. We would like to say Mahalo for the short ribs and mashed potatoes. Yummmmmy. It was nice seeing many wedding planners, dj's, photographers, florists, potential Oasis property renters, and wedding professionals enjoying the Cucumber-Cilantro Mojito's we were whipping up. We use only fresh ingredients and we went to the farmers market that morning and picked up locally grown cucumbers, and cilantroWe then added some limes, and added our very own home-made Simple syrup. Made with Real honey, water, and our very own special ingredient and we can't tell you!!! You will just have to try it yourself next time. We added some Bacardi Limon, crushed ice, shook it up, and topped it with some 7-up. Voila, it was absolutely perfect. Nice and refreshing, cool, crisp, and had a slight undertone of cilantro. Thanks again to Jenn Kahunahana from Savvy Productions for inviting us. Mahalo. For more info on their amazing, see through floor go to their website at www.savvycoordination.com. Don't forget our professional bartending service for your next private party, special event, or wedding. We'll come up with a few specialty cocktails specifically for you. It's what we do, and we love it.

Wedding Event in Kailua - Cheryl & Brett Krueger
Alooooooha!!! It was a fun, eventfull day yesterday. We woke up early and got a early move on as it was King Kamehameha day. Parades were going on, and we needed to get last minute supplies. A trip to Costco, Office Max, Hawaii Ice Company, and a few local farmers to get some needed supplies. Mostly berries, mint, and fresh limes for our specialty cocktails which were Cucumber Mojito's and Berry Caipirhinia's. We loaded up our portable bars, back bar tables, and drove to the Kailua Vacation house of Waterfalls B&B to set up. We wheel in our portable bars, meet the wedding planner and her set up staff. During our set up the local neighborhood dog didn't like us as we were intruding onto his property, and gave us a little nip on the leg. That didn't stop us, we aren't going to let a little dog nip stop our amazing bartending service. Business as usual.
The reception started at six and the guests are starting to arrive. We're all set-up, ready to go, bar menu is on the bar top and people are excited with the selection of specialty drinks. The Berry Caipirhinia was a huge hit. Muddled with Black and Blue Berries, Raw Maui Sugar, and fresh Limes. We added Leblon Cacha, a dash of Chambord, shook it hard and poured it into crushed ice. Voila, perfection!!! What will be your specialty cocktails that we create for your next special event, private party, or wedding??? Everybody was in great spirits with Lift Your Spiritz.
People were rocking out to Tony So, a amazing DJ, and they had a great slide show. Ps. Thanks Tony for your help, it was great working with you agin. Primo Suishi was also there and had a very professional set up. You can find them at Oceans 808 nightclub.
It did start raining later on in the night but it didn't stop the fun on the dancefloor. It actually accentuated it. People were dancing, getting wet, falling down, laughing and having the times of their lives.
I'd like to say a personal Thank-you to the bride and groom - Cheryl and Brett Krueger. You have wonderful family, friends, and co-workers.
