Aloha!!! It started off as a beautiful day but as we went up into the rain forest of Manoa it got damp. Luckily we were on the top parking lot of the Tree Tops Restaurant and could unload all of our bartending gear and go across the overpass with our handy trolley.
The Groom Stu Bodden and his new wife Stephanie had a great time and about 150 guests showed up for their special day up in the trees. We rocked out the bar with some amazing specialty cocktails. We made what we call a Lychee Crush. It had muddled Lychees, freshly squeezed lemon juice, Pear Vodka, and then topped with lemon lime soda. We shook it hard and poured it straight. It was sooooooo tasty. Our other specialty drink of the evening was a Hawaiian Mojoito. Made with Muddled Pineapple, Mint, limes, White rum, Ginger Liqueur, and Ginger-Ale. Ok, this cocktail was uber good toooooo:)
I must say, all in all, no wedding is ever complete without a congo line. This was a great highlight of the evening. Then when I thought it couldn't get any better Auntie comes up, asks me for a bottle of Tequila, and is dancing the congo line. Not only is she dancing but she's drinking the tequila right from the pour spout!!! Awesome, Thank's Auntie, You Rock!!! Later on the bride and groom left to enjoy themselves as a new couple and had a hotel room booked in Ko'Olina. We packed up, this time in severe rain, got totally soaked, but that's why were here. We bartended, we laughed, had a great time, and made some awesome drinks and got to share a moment with a great group of people. Mahalo. Remember us for your next event. Also would like to have a shout out to Jenn from Savvy Co-ordination. Always a pleasure to work with you!!!:) Maybe we'll bartend your wedding on 12-12-12.
