Rocking out another event at the summer Palace. It is such an nice quaint little area. Our featured cocktail at this event was a Hawaiian Mojito. Muddled with fresh Pineapple, Mint, and Limes. We prepped it up by making our home made Simple Syrup with Maui pure cane sugar. We used Domaine de Canton ginger Liqueur, 10 Cane Rum, fresh lime juice, and ginger-ale. We met alot of cool vendorsCamille's on Wheels. Awesome name but more importantly, awesome Taco's. Thanks Camille, you were a hoot!!!
Fairy Cakes Hawaii. Ps - Mahalo for the referral!!! And Soul Patrol, we didn't forget u.
We also concocted which felt like a million Mojito's for this Austrailian group as well. Note to self, stop putting Mojito's style drinks on our menu. I totally got weeded when I had to make about 40 mojito's all at once.
So the Australians came, they laughed, they drank, they ate, and hopefully they will tell fond stories of the legends they heard. Mahalo to the Oahu Travel Bureau, and Mahalo to Poni from StreetGrindz
Thanks for having us. We would love to work with you again, and again, and again!!!

"The Knot" event at the YWCA Honolulu
Aloha, it was another beautiful day in Hawaii. A great day to be bartending an event for "The Knot". We had two different bar set-ups and we were also going to be doing a "Flair Bartending" show. We came up with some awesome specialty drinks for this event. "The Summer Bliss" was a huge hit and made with fresh watermelon, basil, ginger. It was Yummmmmy, and we also came up with a Red Irish Apple which used Jameson's Irish Whisky, Absolut Apple, Apple Pucker, Cranberry and Topped with Waalua Soda Red.
Then our "Flair" Bartending show came up. It rocked. I started off by using Kick Start Your Heart by the Crue. The show went awesome and ended it with a nice little juggling routing. After the routine we brought out our fireboard and my fellow bartender and I blew a nice little "fire ball" to show our guests how we like be the party. Click the Fire Ball to see our Fire show and the end of our Flair Bartending Show. Its on our Facebook Page!!!
Mahalo for having us "Weddings by Grace and Mona".

Wedding at Lanikuhonua Gardens - Sheena & Yousef
THE WEDDING OF SHEENA AND YOUSEF
Aloha!!! It was another beautiful day to have a wedding in Hawaii and we were bartending at Lanikuhonua, a gorgeous location right on the beach. It was a very busy for us as a bartending service as not only we're we bartending a wedding, but we were also participating at the Bridal Expo!!!Everything went as planned. We had our wedding booth manned, or should I say Wo-manned and myself and my fellow bartender set up at Lanikuhonua. Set-up went smooth, and then we went to go pick up our third bartender and yank her from the wedding expo.
It was nice to finally meet Carmina. She was the mother of the groom and her and I did several emails to each other over the course of the past couple of months. Aloha!!! The specialty drinks that we had featured at the wedding were Blue Cheese stuffed olives for a dirty vodka martini, Watermelon Caipirhinia, Lychee Martini, and we even had Strawberry Lemonade for the Keiki but some of the adults were mixing vodka in there :) All-in-all it was a great time and we were proud to be there. Marino was the MC and he did a great job. Also, thank you to the staff of Lanikuhonua as they found us a coat hanger. Our keyless entry into our Lift Your Spiritz truck wasn't so keylessWe had to break into our own car to fetch last minute items. One of them being a vest for one of our bartenders. Mahalo Lanikuhonua!!! We would also like to say a Mahalo to all the rest of the vendors. A Perfect Day, Floral Details Hawaii, Accel Rentals, Catering Connection, Oeno Wine Making, Kahai Street Kitchen, Kai Photo, Crane Media - check out this link if you get a chance - it's the ceremony highlights - it's beautiful http://www.cranemedia.com/weddings/07302011sy It was great meeting everybody and wishing you all the best in the future.

Bombay Sapphire & GQ Bartending Competition
AAAAAAAloha, it was another great day for bartenders in Hawaii. Pearl nightclub was the host this year for Bombay's Bartender competition.
It took place on July 26th and it was tons of fun. The winner of the competition was from the Waikiki Edition Hotel and he made a drink which had Vanilla smoke. It was pretty damn good I must say. Good job by all the bartenders competing, there was about 14 of us in all. The winner gets put into the finals which will be in Las Vegas and they get to showcase their signature cocktail there. Good Luck!!! Until then, we will keep making our fantastic drinks, work our magic with our guests, and keep showing people how we like to rock out the bar.
The drink we made was refreshing and half the fun was tweaking it for the competition, practice makes perfect (hehehe). Our ingredients were muddled ginger to release all of its wonderful flavors, then we added in some cubed pineapples (no seeds preferred), and added some pure Maui Cane Sugar and re-muddled everything together.
Then ... We took some fresh Thai basil, threw it in the mash and re-muddled it. Not too much but just enough to release the oils and flavors from the basil - You only need a little muddle with basil, too much, and it gets all funny. Then we added in a squeese of lemon, and of course Bombay Sapphire Gin along with just a dash of Passoa which is a passion fruit liquor. Added in some ice, shook it really, really, hard, poured it straight, and drank it with Sophistication. Yummmmmy. I thought it tastes super awesome and I could have drank them all day long.
